Volunteer with us
Brydges Centre welcomes people with diverse talents and gifts to come and volunteer at our centres in Kenya. This could be at the Skills Centre as a computer teacher, carpentry, building, cook, caterer, english teacher and more.
At the children's home, volunteering can be in the form of helping with the social work aspects, after school program, coaching our children in sports activities, music and dance, as well as supporting and caring for the children. Volunteers are also encouraged to assist with administration in fundraising, management skills training or other forms of capacity building that are required during your stay here at Brydges.
Specialised volunteers such as teachers, doctors and social workers are also required to help assist in more defined roles throughout our centres. At present, volunteers such as builders and computer experts are required to assist with new building projects and the Skills Training centre here in Ngong.
Volunteers will have the chance to sample Kenyan culture and if desired we can also help arrange your safari into the famous Maasai Mara national reserve, Hells Gate, Lake Nakuru and many others!
