Child sponsorship

You can help in many ways through sponsoring a child. We have a number of children at Brydges Centre who are currently unsponsored and we are actively seeking financial help with room and board, primary school through to University education, and the Skills Training programs to be able to give each of these children the support needed to grow and develop.

Your sponsorship can give a child a second chance.

Below are the various categories of child sponsorship here at Brydges Centre. The categories are based on the individual needs of the child as they progress through the development stages and through different levels of education.

Sponsorship Category	Amount in US$
1. Room and board. Refers to the maintenance of the children at the home. Not only food, shelter and accomodation but also staff costs, medical expenses and clothing.	$50 per month

2. Primary school education. Refers to learning materials, tuition fees, uniforms, exam fees, school based feeding program and similar costs.	$100 per school term

3. High school fees. This category includes costs of the term fees, personal requirements, school text books and other learning materials (and is part paid quarterly each year).	$690 per year

4. Skills training sponsorship. The sponsorship caters for training facilities rent and other bills, tutors allowances, room and board for the students, examination fees, costs of purchasing learning materials for demonstration and practical lessons, text books and other stationaries. 5. University fees sponsorship. University fees vary from one college to another depending on the courses selected by the student. We currently have one student in University and another waiting for sponsorship.	$3400 per year or $1700 per semester
